Jonathan Cooper is pleased to show for the first time the work of Italian artist Andrea Collesano. His upcoming exhibition, 'Dreams on Paper', will include miniatures depicting tiny insects and larger works with whales and other mysterious creatures of the abyss reign. Collesano is inspired by the ancient, the lost, the old symbolic and naturalists' engravings. He mainly works with ink on paper which he prepares himself, giving the material a flavour of ancient times and a feeling of serene melancholy.
