This painting invites the viewer into a rich, symbolic exploration of the imagination, where abstract forms and flowing brushstrokes coalesce to create a narrative exploring the roots of Prasad's spiritual experience. Guided by his intuitive marbling technique, forms emerge organically from the composition—figures, creatures, and symbols taking shape as though drawn from an ancient, universal mythology.
Drawing upon the artist's Himalayan upbringing and a meditative connection to the collective unconscious, this piece reinterprets mythological archetypes, offering a new yet familiar spiritual language. At its heart, the painting evokes the presence of a prophetic figure—a sage-like face emerging from the swirling clouds—and a host of enlightened followers encircled by halos, reminiscent of Renaissance compositions. This blending of elements speaks to a universal longing for transcendence, bridging the ancient with the intuitive.
